The Reason Why
(Logan x Reader)
--
"You look tense." (Y/n) smiled slightly as she looked at the man sitting in front of her. "Care to share about your day?"
The other man sighed and shook his head as he poured himself a drink. "Not really. How about we talk about your day?"
(Y/n) rolled her eyes slightly and nodded, sitting down on the counter to face him. "I taught a class like I do every day, while you were out not at the school."
"I've been busy with my own things. Charles knows that I have no time to teach right now." Logan told her, sipping at his drink.
"The kids ask about you, you know. They want to know why you're never around during class, but like to just come at eight at night." She told him, running a hand through her hair.
Logan sighed deeply, looking down at his almost empty glass. "The kids know I'm not a teacher right now, they should--"
"They look up to you." She cut him off, hopping off the counter. "And sometimes I don't know why they do."
He took a deep breath in and bit his lip. Sure, he didn't care what a lot of people cared about him, but he really cared what (Y/n) thought. "You have a problem with me?"
(Y/n) looked like she had to think about her words before she spoke. "Sometimes, yes. You say you care about the school and the people in it, and then never stay long enough to really help it. It's just not fair."
Logan listened and nodded. "I'm sorry I've let you down."
"You've let me down before, but this time you've let down the children and the Professor. At this point I'm used to being disapointed." She sighed, turned around and walking out of the kitchen.
Watching her go, Logan groaned. He stood up from his seat at the counter and walked to Charles's study, knowing the man was still in there for the night.
"Logan, so nice to see you!" The older man smiled as Logan walked into the study. "I haven't seen you in ages, how have you been."
"I'm sure you heard the conversation downstairs." Logan sighed as he sat down in one of the chairs.
Charles nodded as he wheeled himself over to sit by the man. "She really cares about you, she just knows that you might not listen."
"I know she cares, but I care about her too and she doesn't seem to even know." He told the other man as he leaned back in his chair.
Charles laughed slightly, shaking his head. "I'd try to be a little nicer, maybe show her something that you care."
Logan nodded as he sat up. "I can maybe think of something." He said as he stood up. "Thanks Charles."
--
"Your homeowrk for tonight will be to--" (Y/n) started, getting cut off then the door to the classroom opened.
"Mind if I step in for a bit?" Logan asked as he walked into the classroom.
(Y/n) smiled slightly, shutting the text book in her hand. "You guys got lucky, no homework tonight. Class dismissed."
The class rushed out, pushing right by Logan who was standing near the doorway.
"What changed you overnight? Coming to a morning class, and you even seem awake for it." (Y/n) smiled slightly as she packed up the stuff on her desk.
"I'm back to stay." He told her as he watched her. "Starting tomorrow I'll be teaching a class, with the help of Hank of course."
(Y/n) turned and looked at him, pausing what she was doing. "You're staying? Like, for good?"
Logan nodded and leaned against the desk. "Yeah, I think it's time to stay."
He looked down at her and it looked like she was crying. "Sometimes, I get mad at you. And then you do stuff like this and I remember why I love you." (Y/n) smiled, drying her eyes as she pulled him in for a hug.
"You're the reason why I'm staying." Logan smiled, looking down at her.
"Sometimes you can be really nice. I hope you know that." (Y/n) smiled, leaning up and kissing his cheek.

Logan Howlett (Wolverine) x Reader
It had been a week since Logan had left me, a week since the man of my dreams walked out my front door. I had always know that it would come to that, as he's a mutant antd I'm just some lousy human, but I thougt that it would have lasted longer.
'I hate you!' I heard, his voice still ringing in my ears. Being the girlfriend of an X-Man, I had been hurt both mentally and physically multiple times, but nothing Magneto or his cronies could do will ever be able to even come close to the pain I felt as his words ripped through my heart and crushed my soul.
We had gotten into many fights before, buy none of them has escalated on this scale.

Wolverine x Reader part 8
“Stop!” You screamed sitting up in bed, the bright lights blinding you, your head pounding.
“(Y-....-N),” you faintly heard your name through ringing ears.
Your vision was blurry but you made out the shape of two people in front of you. A few second later you saw it was the Professor and Storm.
“(Y/n),” he repeated. “You’re safe now.”
When you looked around you saw you were in a room that looked like a hospital. Your arm was in a sling and your whole body ached. Images a the feral man flashed in your head and you grabbed your head.
“What happened? He was going to take me? Why?
