Steve Rogers x Reader

"Hello (Y/n)." Steve smiled, blushing lightly while you walked past him.

"Oh Hello Steve. I didn't reconigize you. You got taller, and bigger, and you have muscle." You said to him, looking up at him. "How did you do it?

Steve looked down and scratched his head for a moment. "Let's just say, science."

Nodding, you watched him closely before speaking. "How would you like to go out some time? Nothing special, just like what we would do before."

He thought for a moment. "Yeah. I would like that. I still have time before I go back to the army."

"Great. I'll see you soon. I still live in the same place." You told him.

"Alright (Y/n), I'll pick you up at eight. See you then." He smiled lightly before he walked away.

You got yourself dressed in a nice (color) dress. You made your hair look nice and sprayed yourself with the perfume you know Steve had said he liked.

The doorbell pulled you out of thoughts, and you raced to the door.

"These are for you." Steve smiled, handing you some flowers. "You look really nice." He blushed.

Grabbing your purse you stepped out of the flat and followed Steve while he shut the door behind you.

"Are you happy to join the army?" You asked.

"Yeah, I am. But I'm really happy I get to see you before I go." He blushed.

Blushing lightly, you looked up at him. "Promise me you won't forget me?" You asked him.

"(Y/n), do you ever think I could forget you?"
