Legolas x Human!Reader
"You better leave me alone!" You yelled, running a hand through your hair while you picked up your weapon. "Elf Prince.." You grumbled.
Legolas smiled softly and made sure he had all of his arrows before he cleaned off his sword. "You needed my hep and you knew it. Foolish Human Princess."
Sighing, you moved closer to him. "Do not test me. I could kill you now if I wanted to."
"No you couldn't. Orcs would kill you before you could even have time to kill me." He said, slipping his sword back into its cover. "Shouldn't you get back to your father?"
"Shouldn't you be getting back to your father?" You teased.
He sighed. "You know very well that if you don't, I will be in trouble for your actions."
You rolled your eyes and looked around for your necklace that must have fallen off. "You don't have to hang around with me."
"You know very well why I hang around with you. Your father makes me."
"But I don't need protection from an Elf. I can handle myself." You said, raising your voice lightly while you continued to look for your necklace.
Legolas saw you were looking and quickly found your necklace and held it up. "This what you're looking for?" He asked.
You quickly snached it from his hands and put it on. "Do not touch my stuff Elf."
"Then don't get into trouble human." He said, getting an arrow ready to shoot. "Now let us keep moving."
Nodding, you walked along side him. "Why does my father make you take me everywhere? I mean, its not like one day I'm going to just fall down and die.."
He stopped, turning to face you. "Do I have to explain everything to you? I thought you were a smart girl.."
"I am but I want to hear you say it." You giggled.
Legolas sighed. "Because one day, to unite the Elves and humans, the two of us have to wed."
You nodded. "Yes. But I know you don't mind. If I had my way I would marry someone else. I hope you've noticed that we do not get along."
He kept walking. "I know you don't hate me. You just dislike me with great intrest."
Sighing, you bit your lip while you looked up at him. "You really do get on my last nerve, you know that?"
"I know I do, but that makes loce interesting." He smiled, bending down and giving her a light kiss on the lips.
You pulled away and smacked his arm. "What did I tell you about leaving me alone?!"
Legolas chucked and put away his bow and arrow. "You really are stubborn for a human. Usually its the Dwarfs.."
"Well I'm glad I remind you of a Dwarf." You hissed, looking up at him.
He looked down at you and smiled. "Let us save the fighting for after the wedding."

Icy winds nipped at your cold skin as you sat on the edge of a large boulder just outside of the grand forest of Mirkwood. You were the next queen to reign over the grand forest but...Suddenly things changed. 'What am I even doing here?...' You questioned yourself silently as you recalled the earlier events.
Flashback~
"Legolas! J-Just hold on! It's not what you think!" You called to him as you practically jogged to keep up with his large strides. "Not..What..It..Looked like?" Legolas sounded strangely calm which unsettled you as you both stood still. Slowly turning around, his eyes were slightly glassed over as he let out a shaky breath.

You trailed behind Legolas. Not because you couldn’t keep up but because you were looking at the stars. Something you always liked to do.
“(y/n) Keep up! We are going to lose Aragorn and Gimli at this rate!” Legolas scolded. You ran to catch up to him. Your elven feet barely making a sound as you run.
“Sorry. The stars are beautiful tonight. They seem to shine brighter.” You chime happily falling into step with him. He just shook his head. You felt rather out of place with the three companions you had. The three hunters you liked to call them. You got on well enough with them individually but together you couldn&

A brisk breeze blew a strand of hair into your eyes, causing you to brush it aside in annoyance. You were travelling with a small group of traders from Esgaroth to Erebor. It was a trip that was made monthly, to trade with the dwarves there for supplies. Although it was your first time on such a journey, you had trained extensively in preparation, eager to prove your mettle for a woman of your size. It was a well-known fact that you were one of the shortest women in Esgaroth; you were often mistaken for a child at the tavern. Your size, however, had come in handy once you’d begin training in hand-to-hand combat and stealth.
