Jace x Warlock!Reader (2)
"Do you really want to meet them?" Jace asked as he looked down at her, smiling slightly.
She nodded, smiling up at him. "I really want to. They're important people in your life, and I think they should know me too."
Jace sighed and gently pushed her hair behind her ear. "Did I ever tell you I love your hair?"
"You've told me at least a million times." (Y/n) giggled, kissing his cheek. "Okay, now lets get this over with."
The two walked into the institute and were instantly met with Isabelle. "There you two are! We were worried you weren't gonna come!" She smiled, giving both of them a large hug.
"Trust me, I tried." Jace mumbled, causing (Y/n) to slap his arm.
"I'm (Y/n). I know we kind of met before, but I think that this is a proper meeting." (Y/n) smiled at Isabelle, clearly shocked that Isabelle had given her a hug right away.
Isabelle nodded, a huge smile still on her face. "That's true! But Alec is upstairs and has been wanting to talk to you guys. Let's go."
The three walked, Church weaving his way inbetween their legs. Also taking the time to stop and hiss at (Y/n).
"Alec, look who showed up!" Isabelle smiled at her brother who was sitting down on the couch, reading a book.
He put his book down and looked at the two, a slight smile on his face. "Nice to see you guys."
(Y/n) held her hand out to him, giving him a soft smile. "It's nice to meet you--"
"Just save it. Please." Alec told her, holding up a hand to stop her. "Sorry, just had a bad morning."
Jace nodded, a hand resting on (Y/n)'s waist. "Yeah, we can tell."
"Thought you would have been nicer to a Warlock, considering that you're so close to Magnus." (Y/n) sighed softly, shaking her head. "Such a shame, he told me you were nicer."
Alec froze, blinking in shock. "H-He talkes about us?"
She nodded. "When I told him I was dating Jace, he told me everything there is to know about him. Family and friends included."
"Well don't tell him anything. He already knows way too much." Alec grumbled as he ran a hand through his hair.
Isabelle clapped her hands together and looked at the other two in the room. "How would you two like dinner?"
Jace quickly shook his head. "We do not want to eat your food, please."
"Okay, we'll get takeout. Just make yourself comfortable." She smiled as she walked out of the room.
"We don't have to stay if you don't want to. I'm not forcing you to do anything." Jace whispered to her, gently kissing her cheek.
She shook her head. "No. I want to stay. I came to meet your family and that's what I'm going to do."
Jace smiled, bending down to gently kiss her. "Then why don't I show you around?"
